Groote gets a Jet!
Airnorth is thrilled to announce that our E170 jet fleet is now operating air services between Darwin and Groote Eylandt.
By upgrading to the 76-seat jet aircraft, we have added an extra 30% in capacity increasing the number of additional seats to 930 across 22 flights each week between Darwin and Groote Eylandt. The benefits of the jet enable Airnorth to provide more reliability, faster flight times, greater access to promotional airfares and the opportunity for customers to enjoy additional checked-in and carry-on baggage allowances.
Furthermore, Airnorth will be providing additional capacity between Groote Eylandt and Cairns via Gove up to five times a week.
Together we fly.
